A 2 minute film showing highlights from the June 1959 Festa in Mortale

Festa di S. Antonio 1959

Highlights of the Festa di S. Antonio on Saturday 13th June 1959 in Mortale.  The footage, filmed by Giulio Forte and edited by Ettore Forte, starts after the 11 a.m. mass in the church square and follows the procession up to L'Ara Perrone.  Amongst many of the recognisable faces are the Eastbourne Fortes who are the altar boys, dressed in red and white.  To this day, they remain angelic.  At the front, carrying the statue are Ettore Forte and Armando Sacco.
