A 12½-minute film showing highlights from the October 2016 Festa in Mortale

Festa della Madonna del Carmine 2016

This short film was taken at the Festa della Madonna del Carmine on Saturday 8th October 2016 in Mortale.  The footage starts at the evening mass in the Church of S. Antonio in Mortale, and then follows the procession in which the statue of the Madonna is carried through the village.  The second half of the film is taken in the Village Hall, where dancing and live music entertained all who were there until the early hours of the following morning.  The band this year were a talented local group from the Atina area and we all thoroughly enjoyed their traditional music.
